Clinical Interests: Neck, lower back pain, sacro-iliac/ pelvic pain, dry needling, Pilates
Alana completed her Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in 2010, in addition to having completed a Sport and Exercise Science degree at UWA. Alana has a strong interest in using exercise in the rehabilitation of injuries, and this led her to complete her Pilates Instructor training with Polestar, becoming certified in 2013.
Alana is experienced in treating a wide variety of injuries, enjoys treating all areas of the spine and has an interest in sacro-iliac joint dysfunction and working with pre- and post-natal women. Alana is currently completing further training in the area of Women’s Health Physiotherapy. Alana is trained in dry needling and enjoys combining manual therapy with exercise-based rehabilitation.
Outside of work Alana enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family and dog, particularly along the beautiful WA coastline.
