Abe Davey

Clinical Interest: Lower back and neck pain, sporting injuries, physio rehab classes

Abe is a Notre Dame School of Physiotherapy graduate, in addition to completing Exercise and Health Science and Exercise Rehabilitation degrees. This combined education means Abe is focused on the holistic treatment of his clients – from diagnosis and initial treatment in the acute stage to long-term exercise rehabilitation.

Abe is experienced with musculoskeletal presentations including low back and neck pain, sporting injuries and acute or overuse presentations, implementing the most recent evidence based practice for each of his clients. Abe is also trained in Pilates, and offers individual or class programs for injury rehabilitation or maintenance as a central feature of his treatment approach.

Having a personal background in playing WAFL football, Abe has continued his involvement through working as a physiotherapist in the WA Football Commission State Academy, WAFL Subiaco Colts program and Scarborough Football Club.

Away from work, Abe enjoys getting out for a surf, camping and walking around golf courses. And when he can, getting back to his hometown near Esperance.
